Today, we’re taking a look at a website that’s living in the past – 2005, to be exact. No, we won’t talk about old and interesting sites, reminisce about those times, or get nostalgic. We will talk about a site that exists today but still looks like it hasn’t changed since then.

Today, we’re discussing CSGOCases and will give you a full review of the site, its features, and our own assessment. So, let’s dive in!

  • Giveaways
  • Simple Registration
  • Low traffic
  • Outdated website design
  • Poor navigation
  • Lack of customer support

CSGOCases Platform Uniqueness

Let’s consider what makes the platform unique and its distinctive features.

As soon as you enter the site, you will see the design we have already mentioned, which is simple, outdated, and very disproportionate. However, some might say that design is not the main thing, as long as it is convenient or, for example, has some other cool features, but this is not quite the case.

In fact, design has a very strong impact on the user, especially if it is not well thought out and makes the site’s navigation difficult. In addition, it is immediately clear how serious the site is in its intentions, as all sites that really care about their customers try to make a good and convenient design. There is not even any support here, but we will talk about support later.

CSGOCases Promotions and Bonuses

The only minor advantage of CSGOCases is their welcome bonuses. As soon as you enter the website and complete registration, you can receive 77 cents to your balance by entering the bonus code that appears immediately after registration.

We’ll break everything down separately to make it easier for you to understand what’s interesting on the site.

Daily Free

The website offers two daily cases where you can win skins or «Free USD.» To find these cases, click the «Giveaway» section in the top menu. Once you click on this word, you will see a list of all available promotions and bonuses. Select «DAILY FREE,» and you will be redirected to the case page.

We can’t say that these are good cases because how can you say anything about a case where you don’t even see the chances of something dropping?

To get this case, you will need to do the standard thing and change your profile name to «CS.PRO.» There is also another case that you can get for free, called «DAILY FREE 2.» The rules here are almost identical, but instead of the name, you now need to change the logo to csgocases.com.

Of course, it’s good that there are two free cases, but you can’t even hope to get anything valuable out of them.

Get USD is another section where you can get something for free. In this case, you get money directly to your balance. However, if you think you can earn some cool skin or something else interesting here, you’re wrong again.

Each task rewards you with a mere $0.02, and there are only five tasks available, bringing your total earnings to a modest $0.10. While this amount may not seem significant, the availability of this feature is undoubtedly a positive addition.

Free USD

If you thought you could only get extra funds on your balance from the previous section, you’re in for a surprise! The site also has a «Free USD» section. The point of this section is that six users who top up their accounts with the largest amount over a certain period of time will receive additional funds to their balance.

While we endeavored to uncover more comprehensive details regarding the precise amount bestowed upon the victorious participants, our efforts proved futile. The site clearly has problems with providing clear and detailed information.

CSGOCases also hosts two giveaways with prizes worth up to $20. Let’s take a closer look at the prizes and entry requirements.

The first giveaway has prizes with an approximate value of $12-14. For example, right now, you can get M4A1-S | Black Lotus (Field-Tested) for free. However, to participate, your Steam name must be «CS.PRO.» If you change your name during the giveaway, you will be excluded from the list of participants.

The second giveaway is almost the same, but the prize amount here is up to $10. Currently, the second giveaway prize is P2000 | Amber Fade (Factory New), which has a market price of approximately $8. To get access to this giveaway, you need to set an avatar with the logo csgocases.com

Giveaways are held once a day, with approximately 600 users participating in each one.

The website also offers a lottery feature, with several options ranging from mini to big. To participate in the lottery, you must deposit at least $2 into your account. The more you deposit, the higher your chances of winning.

Mini lottery

It is the smallest lottery on the website. We would be happy to provide accurate information about its duration and the value of the prize, but the website does not provide any information at all. It’s just a nightmare. All you see is a timer that shows how much time is left until the next lottery. However, we can give you approximate information by analyzing the data from the winners list.

  • Duration: 6 hours
  • Prize amount: ~2 dollars
  • Minimum deposit: 2 dollars

Small lottery

This lottery has a slightly better prize than the previous one, the M4A4 | Royal Paladin (Minimal Wear). There are 130 participants in this lottery, and the conditions for participation are a top-up of $5 or more.

  • Duration: 24 hours
  • Prize amount: ~ 8-10 dollars
  • Minimum deposit: 5 dollars

Medium lottery

The prize of this lottery is StatTrak™ AK-47 | Neon Revolution (Minimal Wear). The lottery is held every three days, and there are currently 292 users waiting for the results.

  • Duration: 3 days
  • Prize amount: ~ 50 dollars
  • Minimum deposit: 10 dollars

Big lottery

Here’s something really interesting: StatTrak™ M9 Bayonet | Scorched (Field-Tested) will be given to one participant who refills their account for at least $20. There are currently 155 participants.

  • Duration: 7 days
  • Prize amount: ~ 500 dollars
  • Minimum deposit: 20 dollars

Mega lottery

StatTrak™ Classic Knife | Fade (Factory New) is a truly valuable gift for the winner. This beauty is a real gem and worth fighting for. To participate in this lottery, you need to top up your account for at least $50. There are about nine days left until the end of this lottery, and there are already over 500 participants.

  • Duration: 30 days
  • Prize amount: ~ 1000 dollars
  • Minimum deposit: 50 dollars

Lucky ticket

CSGOCases spoils its users with various giveaways and lotteries. It also created a section called «Lucky ticket,» where the rules of participation are very similar to a regular giveaway, but to participate, you need to buy a ticket for $0.03.

Lucky ticket is updated every seven days, the number of participants in such a lottery is approximately 600, and the prize pool is close to $4-5.

Referral System

Immediately after registration, you will have access to the referral system. You can copy your code and send it to your friends. Everyone who goes to the website and uses your code will receive $0.77 to their balance. And in this way, you will add one person to your referral system. The more people, the better because you will receive 5% of their top-ups.

The referral system also has a progression level. You start at level 1 and have a 5% top-up percentage. Your percentage increases by 1 with each level. The maximum level of the referral system on CSGOCases is the sixth. To reach the sixth level, you need to have 1000 referrals. Then, you will receive 10% of their top-ups.

CSGOCases Game Modes

And now, we’ve come to the most important part: case opening and the main game modes. Unfortunately, there aren’t many of them here. Only Case Opening, Upgrade, and Case Creator are available.

Let’s start with the first one.

Case Opening

Oh, we have a lot to talk about here. The website offers 90 company-created cases, and you’ll find a variety of cases here. However, if you wanted to filter these cases, you wouldn’t be able to, as there is no filter at all! However, it’s okay that there is no filter, as there are not many cases.

If you don’t like any of them, you can switch the tab at the top to «User Cases,» and there are countless of them here. We went through 80 pages and found cases that were cheap and expensive. How do you filter them? How do you find the one you want? It’s not clear.

While filters are straightforward, what about the cases? The situation is even worse here. Let’s take «FADE» as an example. At first glance, it seems like a decent case with good knives and seemingly good content.

But in reality, you’ll never know the actual chance of getting those beautiful skins, as lower down, there are skins like R8 Revolver — Amber Fade, Sawed-Off — Amber Fade, SSG 08 — Acid Fade, which are priced at no more than $1. So, is it worth spending $10 on a case without knowing the odds of getting a particular skin?

Upgrade is a classic mode that has become necessary on every website and is implemented quite well here. The simple design is evident but does not detract from the functionality. You can choose one of the offered multipliers: 1.5x, 2x, 5x, or 10x. Alternatively, you can simply choose the desired skin, and the site will automatically show you the chance of winning.

If the skin is too expensive, it will ask you to add a little more to your balance.

Case Creator

As you enter this tab, the main functionality will be presented before you. Here, you are empowered to create your case, giving it a unique name, selecting its visual appearance, and choosing the skins that will be included. The final step is to determine the percentage chance of each skin dropping.

It looks something like this:

  1. Name
  2. Visual
  3. Your revenue share from case openings
  4. Content
  5. Drop percentage

After you create a case, you can receive money from it if someone opens it. A specific amount will be credited to your account. You can create up to 30 cases with different amounts. There is no limit on the price.

The most important thing is that you can see the drop rates in cases created by the user but not in cases created by the company.

CSGOCases User Journey

Upon landing on the website, each user is met with a rather outdated design and a handful of company-created case studies. In an attempt to navigate the site, a new user will likely abandon the project altogether due to its outdated appearance, unintuitive layout, and lack of features that users have come to expect, such as a convenient search bar, online support chat, or engaging events.

The only positive aspects of the user experience on this site are the few free case studies and a bonus code for $0.77. However, this is hardly enough to entice users to continue exploring the platform.

User Interface and Usability

We have already mentioned many times that the design is outdated, and it would not be such a big problem if everything was fine except for the bad design. However, CSGOCases knows how to surprise, and the design is not the only bad thing here.

To understand the site and find some information, you will either need to analyze the situation yourself or look for the answer in the FAQ section, which is very small, by the way. In fact, you will not find the answer to your question in this section.

We wrote about Case Creator, but how do we find it if it is not on the main page and not in the menu? To create a case, you need to go to Users Cases and then select Case Creator. But why do this if Case Creator is a really interesting thing that can interest many users?

In fact, the site’s usability is not felt at all, and it is very disappointing because many other sites with an outdated interface are at least convenient and understandable, unlike CSGOCases.

Customer Support

The biggest disappointment of this evening is Customer Support. Why is that? It’s simple: If you have a question, you won’t find a help window on the website at all. There is no online support or even a convenient window where you can write your question and attach an email address for a response. All that is available for customer support is a tiny FAQ section.

If you have any questions, you need to find an email address on the website and write your question there. It is very inconvenient and impractical.

Community Engagement

CSGOCases was established in 2021. During this time, it has gathered a lot of feedback and ratings from users. Below, we have summarized the results. On Trustpilot, the CSGOCases community has rated it 4.5 out of 5 stars. This rating is based on 714 individual votes and reviews, which you can read. The company tries to respond to all negative reviews within 24 hours.

Review sites typically give CSGOCases a rating of around 2.5, citing its simplicity. However, we have a slightly different rating, which you will learn about later.

Ongoing Events and Draws

Unfortunately, during our time on this website, we haven’t witnessed any events dedicated to any occasion. The site simply exists, devoid of any engaging content. For those seeking excitement, this will undoubtedly be a source of disappointment.

The only positive aspect is that the site features numerous giveaways, albeit small and unknown. They are present nonetheless, and that’s a good thing.

CSGOCases Statistics

And now, for a deeper understanding of the website’s scale and operations, let us delve into some statistics:

  • Cases opened: 81 593 761
  • Average Online: 600
  • Trustpilot Score: 4.5
  • Trustpilot Reviews: 714

The statistics presented here are, unfortunately, not entirely satisfactory. Notably, the site fails to provide data on the overall number of unique visitors, nor does it offer any information regarding its tenure in the market.

The sole statistic presented is the count of open CS2 cases. We strongly urge the addition of further information, as such metrics are of paramount importance in fostering trust with your website visitors.

Media Activity

Let’s talk about CSGOCases’ social media presence and other platforms. On the top of the site, you can find links to 3 main social networks where CSGOCases is active. But is that really the case? Let’s find out now.

  • Facebook: We reviewed this page and can say that everything is pretty good here. The company often runs special giveaways for Facebook and posts promo codes that give you a balance on your account and other information.
  • Twitter: CSGOCases’ Twitter account is almost identical to Facebook. All information is duplicated, and there is nothing new except for giveaways. This is actually a good thing, as not everyone uses all social networks.
  • Instagram: The company only posts promo codes on Instagram that can give you additional funds to your balance.

News About the CSGOCases

While the company’s social media activity is at a normal level, unfortunately, they do not share information about upcoming updates or new interesting events that could interest users. It is a pity, as this could further attract users’ attention, benefiting the company.

CSGOCases Glossary

Due to the fact that the website is not very user-friendly, we have created a small glossary containing the most necessary links that may be useful to you.

  • Homepage: This is where you start your journey on CSGOCases.
  • Case Creator: This is a fun tool where you can create your own CS2 case.
  • FAQ: This is a small but helpful resource if you have any questions.
  • Upgrade: The place where you can upgrade your skins.
  • Shop: The place where you can buy any skin for your balance.

If you cannot find the answer to your question on CSGOCases, you can contact the company at [email protected].

This section of the website is worth discussing separately. It is one of the few case opening websites that has its own store where you can choose and buy the skin you like. For example, if you get a knife for $500 from a case, you can sell it and use the money to buy, for example, simple gloves and another knife or buy a full set of skins of average value.

This is definitely a good step towards the website’s development. However, the filter’s visual presentation and this section’s overall could benefit from some refinement.

CSGO Cases Top Items and Cases

Considering the cases created by the company, the best one is «KNIVES». It contains 202 knives, but unfortunately, the new Kukri is not included. Also, considering the low probability of getting the desired skin, we do not recommend even this case.

Among the best items on the site are such skins as Karambit | Crimson Web, AWP | Dragon Lore, Sport Gloves | Hedge Maze, or Sport Gloves | Vice, M4A4 | Howl. You won’t find anything more expensive than $7,000 here, but it’s still not bad.

Interesting Cases List

Let’s consider the most popular CS2 cases from the company and users.

If you want to open cases on this site, we recommend paying attention to custom cases.

Safety and Legality

CSGOCases has a very low trust rating on the well-known and reliable ScamAdviser. As you can see from the screenshot, this is a rare occurrence, but the decision is ultimately yours.

Negative highlights:

  • The website’s owner is hiding his identity on WHOIS using a paid service
  • People stated that this site sells fake products
  • People voted this site as possible fraud on Scamadviser

Positive highlights:

  • This website has been classified safe by Maltiverse
  • This website has existed for quite some years
  • We found several positive reviews for this site

Payment & Withdrawal Methods

We weren’t kidding when we said the website was stuck in 2005. Even though it was created in 2021, you can still top up your account using SMS from your mobile phone. It is very strange, we have never seen anything like it. If you think you can easily top up your account, the answer is yes because the site uses the services of the ZEN service. In addition, you can use bonus codes and much more.

Comparative Analysis

This website presents a mixed bag. While the case creation and percentage calculation system are intriguing, the site itself seems neglected compared to its competitors. However, with better management, the site could flourish. Engaging activities and targeted advertising could attract more visitors, case purchases, and user-created cases shared on social media.

Unfortunately, the site appears stagnant, with no signs of development. Hopefully, a future update will revitalize it, allowing us to explore its full potential again.

Our Rating

In conclusion, we are prepared to offer our final evaluation of this website, which shows our subjective opinion. Our rating considers the website’s uniqueness, design, number of activities, number of visitors, support, and many other factors.

  • Safety: 2/5
  • Game modes: 2/5
  • User Experience: 2/5
  • Bonuses: 4/5
  • Support: 1/5

Overall Rating: 2.2/5

Yes, you can withdraw the skins you received from the site.

Yes, of course, you can open cases on CSGOCases. You will be able to find what you need among the large number of cases.

Final Words

Our impressions of the site are rather mixed. On the one hand, the ability to create your own case is a good feature, and the site even offers some enticing bonuses. However, in almost every other aspect, CSGOCases fall short of expectations.

Numerous other sites boast superior reviews, trustworthy ratings, and a more user-friendly interface. Therefore, we would not recommend CSGOCases, at least until they release a major update.

In addition, we encourage you to explore our other articles to find the case opening website that best suits your needs.
